I opened my account three days ago. My email is from telephone company. Why I can't upgrade my access and public my docs?
Thanks, Sal

Please note All ISP emails are not considered "true".

A "true" email address must be a private domain email address like xxx@microsoft.com, but not xxx@hotmail.com, xxx@live.com, or xxx@comcast.com.

A "True Account" is still a free service account. Other than it can publish files / websites, it is the same as a Free Account, which has a lot of restrictions. You can become a true account by depositing at least $3 into your DriveHQ account.

It sure would be nice if the people at DriveHQ would post a somewhat comprehensive list of Email Accounts that are either acceptable or, on the other side, ones that are not considered valid.

Any valid email address can be used to sign up an account on DriveHQ.com. I assume you mean valid for "True Accout".

Unfortunately It is hard to maintain such a list as DriveHQ has customers all over the world. It is hard to list all free email service provoders...However, it is not hard to figure out which email addresses are valid for a True Account. Basically, any free emails, such as gmail, hotmail, yahoo mail, AOL, Comcast, ATT emails are not valid for a true account. You must use a Private Domain email address to qualify for a True Account.  A private domain email address is usually available from a company, e.g.: XXX@microsoft.com

if you don't have such a Private Domain email address, you can deposit a one-time $3 into your DriveHQ account, or order DriveHQ paid service.
