Hi

I want to know if I can do this in free mode:

1. upload a folder (containing more than 5 files)

from the online file manager and NOT from the client ?

Or do I have to upgrade to premium to do this ?

It is recommended using DriveHQ client software (DriveHQ FileManager 4.0) to drag & drop files/folders or automatically synchronize your folders.

If you don't like to install the client software, or if you are using Mac / Linux, you can use DriveHQ FTP, which works with any FTP client software. You can use any third-party FTP client software. For more info, please visit: http://www.drivehq.com/ftp/

Without installing any client software, on Windows, you can use the following address from Windows Explorer (My Computer):

ftp://USERNAME:PASSWORD@ftp.drivehq.com/

You can use the same address on Internet Explorer (not the same as Explorer). On certain operating systems, you cannot drag and drop files if you use Internet Explorer. Use Windows Explorer for drag and drop support.

Hi

When I log on I click the button

"upload"

then it says no more than 5 files.

I am asking is it possible in another account like

e.g. premium account to log on click "upload" button

and then upload more than 5 files using the webclient

and NOT the downloadable backup client and not the ftp protocol

?? Just doing it through the http ?

Or is the webupload limited to 5 files in both

free and premium and all kinds of accounts ?

Please note with web-based upload, you need to manually select files one by one; you cannot select folders. So if you need to upload folders, or if you have a lot of files to upload, it is very inconvenient.

Moreover, if you are uploading a big file and if the network is disconnected, then you will have to start all over again.

With DriveHQ FileManager, you can drag & drop files and folders. It can upload any size files reliably. It can compress data for faster upload / download.

Sorry the web-based upload is limited and is not recommended if you need to upload more than 5 files. Please note the FTP-based upload can work with Windows Explorer. You don't need to install any client software. You can upload multiple files / folders using drag and drop.

Again, just try:

ftp://USERNAME:PASSWORD@ftp.drivehq.com

You web browser probably can also support it.

There are several ways to drag and drop.

(1) The best way is to use DriveHQ FileManager client software. It is extremely easy, reliable and efficient. It is also seamlessly integrated with DriveHQ.com website. You can access a lot more advanced DriveHQ features, esp. share, publish, version control, folder synchronization, etc.

(2) You can also use regular FTP service for drag and drop. For more info, please visit:

http://www.drivehq.com/ftp/

(3) You can use drive mapping; for more info, please visit:
