hi folks

is the ftp service suitable for

my clients who wish to access my educational audio library

i have been looking through the support files for over an hour
cnat find anyone who is offering  service like the one i want to offer.

i would want to be able to
allow them to register themselves automatically.
and to be able to edit their account details
like this site below
http://www.otrftpserver.com/addCredits.aspx

Each credit equals one gigabyte of downloads, which is roughly 150 typical old time radio shows. So, for example, 10 credits equals 10 gigabytes or approximately 1500 old time radio shows.

and so, it is completey automated.
client buys credits

say 1 credit = $7.50 = 1 gigabyte download
with the ability to top up their credits

thankyou for your time
alto

hi folks
by signing up for this forum, i was given access to free account.
i see that i can give access to sub-users, (client), thing is
i subscribe to service per 1 client or per 5 clients.
this would not be possible for me.

i need to be able to offer unlimited no of sub-users(clients)
charge say 7.99 per gigabytle
and then still pay drive hq say 2.99 per gigabytle

is this possible?

My understanding is you want to sell your old radio show files on DriveHQ.com. Yes, it is possible, but works differently. Instead of paying $7.5/GB, DriverHQ charges a much lower price. Of course you can still charge a much higher price for your contents; DriveHQ only charges for the download bandwidth.

If you want to use our payment gateway service, DriveHQ charges 20% commission fee. You can copy your old radio show files into a folder, then publish the folder. Please set a "per file price" when you publish it. When your users want to download the file, they need to pay the price. Once they've paid for the file, they can proceed to download the file.

Please make sure you add your contact info when publishing the folder. Sometimes users may not be able to download the file even after paid for it. In this case, you need to provide customer support so that they can download the file. (You can share the file to the user directly)
